Superbowl! Game Day Snacks

Superbowl Decoration

It’s that time of year again! The air is crisp and football is on every television in America! We are down to the weeks leading up to the most celebrated time in the football season – The Superbowl! Whether or not your team has made it into the final game or even if you are not a diehard football fan, you can still have an amazing gathering. But why be standard with typical beer and salty foods? Mix it up and a have a sweet and savory party!

Superbowl Snacks

Greet your guests with single serve appetizers. Include an eclectic mix of offerings such as Beer Candied Bacon similar to the picture above from Tide and Thyme, Tuna Tartare Bites, Bourbon Glazed Kielbasa like those from Tammi Lee Tips, Corn Dog Mini Muffins from Feed Your Soul Too and Meatball Subs on a Stick from Cookies and Cups.

Superbowl Snacks

Compliment the new offerings with traditional ones like chips and salsa, beef sliders, pizza bites and a huge submarine sandwich!

Food Tip: If your party is on the small size, keep the offerings to single serve like the chips and salsa picture above from The Berry. It adds a bit more elegance to an otherwise collegial affair.

Change up the dynamic of the party and add a Make Your Own Chili or Nacho Bar. Guests will enjoy creating their own dishes to enjoy during the party and it will break up the monotony of just sitting and watching the game.  We like the Chili Bar display from Celebrations at Home pictured above.

Superbowl Drinks

The same can be said for drinks! Obviously beer and football go together quite well,  but why not have a fun beer tasting option using adorable chalkboard paper to draw out your offensive play strategy!

Superbowl Dessert

This party is not just for the boys. Glam up some of the bite size offerings with color and crystals. You can even create a “Boys vs. Girls” atmosphere revolving around the game.  This glam football dessert table featured by Hostess with the Mostess really scores!

Pair your salty options with something sweet! This incredible S’mores Dip from Five Heart Home is easy to make and present for your guests. Plus this incredible mix of Bacon and Chocolate Popcorn found from the Celebration Shoppe is a great compliment to a cold beer or martini!
